An unforgettable Vietnamese food tour! ??
What an incredible experience! This food tour took us off the beaten path to hidden local gems and authentic Vietnamese eateries that most tourists would probably never discover on their own.
We got to try an amazing variety of traditional dishes, including Bánh đúc nóng, Cháo trai, Nem nướng Nha Trang, Ốc mít hấp sả, Ngao trắng hấp, Trứng cút luộc, Chè Thái chuối, Xiên nướng, and the delicious Cà phê muối!
Our guide was absolutely amazing! Not only did we enjoy incredible food, but we also learned so much about Vietnam’s fascinating history, culture, and how these traditional dishes came to be. Every stop came with interesting stories and insights that made the experience even more memorable. Our guide’s passion, knowledge, and enthusiasm truly brought Vietnamese food culture to life!
What made this tour particularly special was discovering the real Vietnam beyond the usual tourist spots. It genuinely felt like exploring the city and experiencing its food culture through the eyes of a local.

A memorable food tour of Hanoi with a personal touch
We had a wonderful time on the tour–all of the dishes were fantastic, and it was fun to try several new things that we would not have found on our own. We especially liked the clam congee and the snails, and our first time having balut was also quite good. Dũng was a terrific guide: he was so knowledgeable about all the dishes and how they are prepared. It was a pleasure to get to know him!

Wir haben die Tour am Ende unserer zweiwöchigen Reise gemacht und hatten schon viel probiert, aber unser Guide Dũng hat uns nochmal ganz neue und leckere Dinge gezeigt. Da er selbst mal Koch war, kannte er sich auch wirklich gut mit den Gerichten und Zubereitungen aus. Dũng ist ein unglaublich sympathischer Mensch und da er sehr gutes Englisch spricht, haben wir uns super unterhalten und hatten einfach unglaublich viel Spaß. Wir machen regelgemäßen Food Touren auf unseren Reisen, aber diese wird uns besonders in Erinnerung bleiben!

We had an amazing food tour with Dūng in Dong Da. We visited spots off the tourist trails and got to know a different Hanoi with very special restaurants and nice insides into the Vietnamese Cuisine. Dūng made us feel comfortable at every stop and was a overall perfect guide for our 3,5 hour tour. Thank you so much!
